The Society of Women Engineers (SWE): stimulates women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expands the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrates the value of diversity.

The Systers index Page: Systers is an informal organization for technical women in computing that began in 1987 as a small mailing list for women in "systems", thus the name systers.

The Computing Research Association committee on the status of Women in computing research (CRAW) is taking positive action to increase the number of women participating in computer science and engineering (CSE) research and education at all levels. The committee seeks to help CS&E women be more successful by providing mentoring, networking, an informal infrastructure and a forum for addressing problems that often fall disproportionately to women.

Association for Women in Computing is an organization based in San Francisco. Their goals are to promote communication among women in computing, further the professional development and advancement of women in computing and promote the education of women of all ages in computing.
