Personal News Network (PNN) is a social media startup located in the Sonoma Business cluster next to SSU.

We are looking for an intern / part time programmer to help the continued design and implementation of our web application in a Ruby on Rails environment. Ruby on Rails is the most visible web 2.0 platform and becoming more and more popular daily.

You will work with our senior programmer to develop new features, write unit/functional tests and follow test-driven development principles, and rapidly iterate based on the design and feedback.

Experience: you should

• Be knowledgeable about object oriented programming,
• Be Interested in learning and working with Ruby on Rails, high traffic applications,
• Have 2-3 years experience with web applications
• Be very familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• You can work at the office or from SSU. You'll be able to work on either the Mac or Windows platform.
