Pacific Pulmonary Services is a dynamic, profitable, and rapidly growing 
home oxygen & respiratory medications company with over 115 locations across 
the country. We are searching for a self-motivated IT professional for 
the Desktop/Telephony Technician position at our corporate office in 
Novato, California.
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Helpdesk Technician provides end-user support and troubleshooting for 
companywide personnel in a Microsoft based enterprise. This person is 
responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of all company pc’s, laptops, 
printers, network equipment, local software and ancillary equipment. This 
person will work with the Helpdesk Supervisor and other members of the IT 
team on the implementation of new technologies. He/she will also play a key 
role in implementing field installations and upgrade initiatives. Position 
has a possibility for Internship credit.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Helpdesk Technician is responsible for maintaining the 
computers/printers/LAN in our corporate office and remote locations. Work 
with network administrators in the design, implementation and maintenance of 
the corporate voice over IP solution. Work closely with users solving their 
issues over the phone using remote tools as available. Expected to work well 
with users, have excellent communication, documentation, and follow up 
skills resulting in the resolution of issues in a timely and courteous 
manner. Requires work with telephone, network and computer vendors, 
maintaining inventory databases and also contribute as a part of the team for 
large projects. May also have exposure to large network design and management.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a positive attitude and great follow-up skills. Comfortable 
troubleshooting PC and basic network issues over the phone. Has working 
knowledge of basic telephony and DSL setup issues. Programming skills are 
a plus. Specific experience with programming, remote access and terminal 
service access, cell phones, air cards and Blackberry devices would be 
a plus. Incumbent is responsible for resolving computer issues requiring 
a high level of problem solving skills. Excellent logical thought processes 
are required.
 
PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Incumbent may be required to move or relocate computer equipment; incumbent 
must be able to lift 50+ pounds and have excellent manual dexterity
