The initial 3COM switches used to initiate the lab when it was housed in Darwin Hall were contributed by Sonoma State University's IT Department.
Three of the original Cisco 7000 routers were donated by the Cooperative Association for Internet Data Analysis CAIDA through their program for developing internet teaching laboratories ITL.
